FISH.OS - DESCRIPTIONS ====================== ONE LINE -------- FISH.OS is an idle fishing game disguised as a 1997 operating system. SHORT, ABOUT 50 WORDS --------------------- FISH.OS is an idle fishing game that runs inside a fake 1997 desktop. There is no main menu, only windows. Catalogue 250 species, work a market that swings every thirty seconds, and run a fleet that keeps earning while your PC is off. Then format the drive and start again, faster. LONG ---- FISH.OS is an idle fishing game disguised as an operating system that shipped in 1997. You do not open a game menu, you boot a desktop. Fishing is a window. The market is a window. So is the aquarium, the fleet manager, and a Minesweeper clone where the mines are sea urchins. The loop is simple and deep in the way idle games get to be. Catch fish, sell them into a live market that moves every thirty seconds, spend the proceeds on rods and boats, and let the fleet earn while the machine is off. Duplicate catches fuse into things that should not exist and get equipped for buffs. When progress slows, you format the drive: a prestige that wipes the install and hands back a multiplier. There are 250 species to index, a prestige tree to climb, and a desktop full of software that has no business being in a fishing game: Solitaire, a paint program, a music player, Fish 2048. One of them is hiding something. FISH.OS is a single purchase with no ads, no energy bars and no store, from solo developer ORCO Games.
